David Hopkins is a comic book writer and essayist, a regular contributor to D Magazine and the Smart Pop Series from BenBella Books. David was recognized in the Dallas Observer's Best Of 2006 as "Best Local Comic Book Writer." He produces and co-hosts Fanboy Radio's monthly Indie Show, broadcasting from KTCU 88.7 FM. David teaches English and Creative Writing at Martin High School. David serves as a member of the advisory board for La Reunion. He is most proud of his three year old daughter Kennedy.
